Experiments exploring which methods engages people the most for the discussion

I was exploring which methods engages people the most for the discussion. I was testing different questions in public spaces in Bergen and observing what kind of conditions makes people to start discussion with one another.
This structure was presented together with the political question “Would you like people to have more influence on decision-making process regarding city matters?” It was placed in different public spaces in Bergen. The answers to the question confirmed my desire to work on the hub for exchange between citizens in Bergen and politicians.

Through the experiment I experienced that asking a question is perfect situation for making people to reflect and discuss if right conditions are created.

Other experiment was asking directly to start conversation with a stranger:
This is the place to where you can ask a stranger about...Capitalism vs. environmentRacism in NorwayChallenges in Bergen

City Council for Climate, Environment and Urban Development in Bergen formulated 1 question that was interesting and useful for them to know the answers from people and for me to conduct "mini referendum" This was the question that they were ready to make an action based on the answers people gives.

There were 642 stones that said YES to people influencing more. And 83 saying  NO.

Question formulated by City Council for Climate, Environment and Urban Development in Bergen: Do you think Norway should stop awarding oil and gas production licences?
